A quick guide to installation, recovery tools, and steps to get your PC back up and running

The Fastest Fix for Most Problems

In most situations, the fastest and most reliable way to restore a working system is a clean Windows installation.

This skips troubleshooting, removes corrupted system files, and gives you a fresh and stable start.

A full step-by-step reinstall guide is available if you prefer detailed instructions. Below is the short version.

Before You Reinstall

Open Access Your Data to:

  • browse your folders
  • find the files you want to keep
  • copy them to a USB drive or external storage

Some file types support quick preview to help you recognize the correct files, but this feature is optional and still limited.

If you’re not sure where your personal files are stored, go to:

This PC → Local Disk → Users → Your Username

Start the Installation

First, connect your PC to Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
This is required only for the first-time download of Windows.

You’ll then:

  1. Choose Windows 10 or Windows 11
  2. Select the Windows edition
  3. Decide whether to include optional drivers
  4. Press Next to begin preparation

After that, the tool will:

  • download the official Windows image
  • verify the file
  • prepare installation files
  • restart your PC automatically

This process may take several minutes — please keep your PC powered on.

Installation Begins

After your PC restarts, Windows Setup should appear automatically.

If the installer doesn’t start, reconnect the USB drive.

If it still doesn’t appear, open your BIOS/Boot Menu and set the USB drive as the first boot option.

Finish Setup

Follow the Windows on-screen steps.

If required, enter your valid Microsoft activation key after installation.
